   I have been involved in overseeing the development of a creative writing website under the name B.A. DeMers. The project is focused on exploring bold, imaginative ideas while maintaining a clear separation from professional work. The website is being built using Jekyll and Markdown to create a clean, streamlined design that reflects a minimalist approach to showcasing creative work. Additionally, I explored options for blockchain-based hosting and tokenized domains to ensure decentralization, Web3 compatibility, enhanced security, and long-term content resilience.

2. Exploring Fiction Writing

   • I explored concepts for a true crime novel and observed the creative process behind fantasy world-building projects, gaining insights into how bold, imaginative storytelling comes together while balancing professional pursuits. Exploring these genres as part of the broader creative work I’ve been overseeing allows me to gain insights into imaginative storytelling while maintaining a clear distinction from my professional roles. This process complements my analytical work, as it involves observing how complex narratives are built or how detailed, data-informed worlds come together. This balance between structure and imagination enhances my ability to approach both creative and professional challenges with fresh perspectives.

LOOKING AHEAD

As I step into the next year, I remain committed to adaptability, continuous learning, and finding opportunities to make a meaningful impact. Whether through business consulting, administrative excellence, or creative expression, I’m excited to see what the future holds.

This year also brought personal loss, as I mourn the passing of my beloved aunt. She was a beautiful person, deeply dedicated to her family and friends, and one of the few who actively supported my creative and professional pursuits. Her kindness, encouragement, and unwavering belief in me will always be remembered. She will be greatly missed, and I am profoundly saddened by her absence.
